How Snow Is Made

In this video we learnt how snow is a made. We were lucky enough to have Thomas Kleiber from Switzerland's weather channel to have a chat with us. We hope you like it.

Kangaroo Island

Hi Everyone,

We have just come back from a few days on Kangaroo Island in South Australia. Kangaroo Island is home to colonies of Australian Sea Lions and New Zealand Fur Seals.

We also went to the Australian Marine Wildlife Research and Rescue Organisation (AMWRRO) where we met "Sam", a New Zealand fur seal.

If you would like to support AMWRRO, you can make a donation through their website.www.amwrro.org.au

Simpson Desert

After hearing about the 1 in 100 year flood that has come through central Australia, we wanted to go and have a look at how the landscape has changed. The Simpson Desert has had 430mm of rain this year in four months, compared to the average of 270mm per year.

We hope you enjoy it and we'd love it if you could leave a comment if you do.

Hannah Dancing

As you may know, Hannah was only six when we started travelling, and she wasn't as keen to talk as much as Leah. So she did her own little dance, which a couple of years later has ended up in this video.

Bát Tràng Pottery Villiage in North Viet Nam

Today we learn how pottery is made at the Vietnamese Village of  Bát Tràng

Sapa

This video is from our visit to the Black Hmong Tribe in the mountains of Sapa near the Chinese and Vietnamese border. We travelled all night to get there on a train.

The people are very interesting and wear very colourful clothes.

We hope you enjoy it.

Rice Village

Hi Everyone,

This is one of our favourite videos we have done, and we had so much fun with the kids in the rice fields. We gave them some chips and green tea which the really liked. At first it was a little hard to communicate but we found that a game was the best way to cross the fun bridge.

Most of the country in Vietnam is covered in rice fields, so it was good to be able to have a close look at how the rice is grown.

Most rice farms have a cow or a bullock to help plough the ground.

We hope you like it.

Black Hmong Tribe People

Hi Everyone,

Here is a pic from our visit to the Black Hmong people who live in the Alps in Sapa. They grow rice and earn money from tourists. We will post a video soon.

Orphanage Children

Hi Everyone,

Here is our first video in Vietnam about an Orphanage we visited. These children were some of the lucky one's that were taken to the Orphanage. We wanted to bring some of them home with us!! Some of them are adopted out from time to time, but the Orphanage does not have enough space for the children.

The Master of the orphanage is saving up to build more rooms and a school.

We love to read your comments, so feel free to let us know what you think about the video.

Hanoi - Northern Vietnam

Hi Everyone,

Hannah and I are on another adventure for three weeks. We have already been to Singapore that was great fun.
Now Hannah and I are in Ha Noi which is in Vitnam, we have had some great fun!

We are in Vietnam tolearn about the Vietnamese way of life. We will be meeting the water people of Halong Bay who live in housesthat have been built on the water - they even have a floating school. We go for scooter rides in crazy traffic and learn how locals work veryhard to make just a few dollars a day selling bananas on the street.

We will have more in the next few weeks.

The photo below is at an Orphanage we visited. The little girl we are holding was dumped at the front of the Orphanage in February. There were 80 children living there.

Bye,

Leah and Hannah
